The present article is devoted to the Polish thread of Merian Coopers life. In the United States and in the world he was known mainly as a producer and film director. In Poland, however, he was remembered for his participation in the Polish-Bolshevik war in the ranks of the pilots of the Kosciuszko Squadron.
